Brydens Home Services

Estate property care, sold on evidence: a hero cut from real jobs, six before-and-after sliders, and booking built into the page.

brydenshomeservices.com

What it is

Brydens Home Services looks after high-end residential properties across Toronto: exterior detailing, pressure washing, event preparation, vehicle detailing and seasonal upkeep.

The site is one long homepage carrying the argument, with four service pages, seven neighbourhood pages and its own booking flow behind it. The work is visual and the results are dramatic, so the page leads with footage and comparisons rather than a price list.

The brief

The company competes in Toronto's wealthiest postcodes, where a contractor is chosen on how careful and discreet they appear long before anyone discusses cost.

So the site had to read as expensive, prove the standard of the work rather than assert it, and turn interest into a booked assessment without a phone call in the middle.

What we built

  1. 01
A hero built from the work itself

Ten short clips of real jobs cross-fade behind the headline: pressure washing, deck staining, interlock, car interiors. The first thing a visitor sees is the service being performed, not a stock photo of a house.

  2. 02
    Six before-and-after comparisons

Each one is a slider the visitor drags themselves. In a trade where every company claims the same standard, showing the driveway at both ends of the job does the arguing.

  3. 03
Assessment booking with its own calendar

A date and time picker built into the page, so an enquiry arrives with a slot already chosen instead of starting a round of messages about when someone is free.

  4. 04
    Photo uploads on the enquiry

Homeowners attach pictures of the areas that need attention. The first reply can quote something specific rather than ask for more information.

  5. 05
    Seven neighbourhood pages

Bridle Path, Rosedale, Forest Hill, Lawrence Park, York Mills, Leaside and The Annex each get their own page. These are the searches the business actually competes in.

  6. 06
WebGL backgrounds that cost nothing to load

The hero particle field and the statement section are drawn in Three.js on a canvas, so the depth they add arrives as code rather than as another image download.

  7. 07
A service carousel that follows the season

Spring through winter, so somebody arriving in February sees snow clearing and somebody arriving in June sees patio work.
